George, Owner and Senior Consultant, served for years as Coordinator for the Bridal Department of Woodward and Lothrop, previously one of the Washington Metropolitan area’s fashionable department stores.
In that capacity, she also worked very closely with wedding experts at Modern Bride Magazine in organizing and presenting some of the top Bridal Events and Fashion Shows in the area. She has been a featured wedding expert on local television, and is designated as a Professional Wedding Coordinator™ by the Association of Bridal Consultants.

Meet The Team
Janice joined the Covenant Weddings and Occasions family in March 2011. We are happy and proud to have such a talented Coordinator and Planner on our staff.
Janice’s interest in wedding planning began by helping friends and family organize their weddings. This interest was sparked almost twenty years ago, but is still a great passion of hers. Seeing what started as an idea, a color, or a binder full of pictures and transforming it into an elegant and memorable event is her special God-given gift.
When not planning weddings and events, Janice enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Jackie joined Covenant Weddings and Occasions in 2010 and is currently an Associate Wedding and Event Coordinator. She is currently enrolled in The George Washington University Master of Tourism Administration Program with a concentration in Event & Meeting Management. Jackie’s passion for event planning started in 1994 when she planned her wedding. She enjoys all aspects of the event planning process and making the client’s vision a reality. Her outstanding professionalism and talent have been a true blessing to our team.
When she’s not planning events of excellence for CW&O, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband Torrin and their son, Pharez.
Penni joined Covenant Weddings and Occasions in August 2012 and is in training to become an Event Coordinator. She has often been called upon to plan special events and parties for family and friends, and planning her daughter’s wedding jump-started her desire to become a professional in the field. Penni truly has fun organizing events and her enthusiasm is infectious when working with clients and the CW&O team.
When she is not planning or working an event, Penni enjoys contemporary jazz concerts, staying in shape and spending time with family and close friends.
