Why hire a wedding coordinator?

On the wedding day we arrive at the ceremony site two hours in advance to ensure that everything is in order and to greet and work with photographer, videographer, florist, etc.

We arrive at the reception site before guests to make sure all is in order:

  • Escort cards, place cards and all accessories are in place
  • Decorations, centerpieces and favors are in place
  • Wedding cake is set up
  • DJ or band is in place and ready to play as guests arrive
  • Room is set according to floor plan
  • Caterer is ready with hors d'eouvres and cocktails as guests arrive
  • Reception site, catering manager, DJ/Band have copy of order of reception
  • Make all announcements or make sure DJ/Band have names and order
  • Caterer is prepared to serve main meal at appropriate time
  • Execution of reception formalities (first toasts, first dance, cutting of cake, etc)
  • Stay until the end of reception to direct and ensure clean-up, collection of gifts and accessories, etc...
