This was a wedding to remember! Such a great time I had working with Aisha and Garland! Aisha is a lawyer, and her firm kept her so busy that she could only take snatches of time to talk with me, but we worked it out and together we put together an absolutely beautiful wedding. The venue was the very elegant and sought after National Museum of Women in the Arts in downtown Washington, DC. Aisha’s chosen theme was French Provincial, with soft colors of blush, ivory and touches of gold, perfect for the décor of the museum. Aisha was quite a vision as she made her entrance down the long staircase and met her mother, who actually accompanied her down the aisle. Garland was absolutely hypnotized as he watched his bride approach. I could see it in his eyes. Even his “Best Man” brother, who kept us laughing the whole day, was mesmerized. Following the ceremony, as guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the third floor, we turned the room into a magical place with ivory flowers, gorgeous linen, crystal, gold, and candles everywhere! So romantic! The newly married couple made their entrance and the fun began immediately as the guests were invited to just dance, dance, and dance some more! They were having so much fun they didn’t want to sit down for dinner! After dinner, Aisha made her second entrance in a gown of crystal and chiffon. What an evening day of enchantment and fun!
